TRM track dominates home meet Friday

In a Friday home track meet for the T.R. Miller boys and girls track team, the Tiger teams took first place in a six-team meet.
The T.R. Miller boys won first place with 116 more points than second place Hillcrest while the girls won first place with 123 more points over second place J.U. Blacksher.
The boys took first with 204 points followed by Hillcrest with 88, Monroe County with 81, J.U. Blacksher 39, Opp 34, and Escambia County of Atmore with 16.
For the girls, the Lady Tigers scored 214 points to second place J.U. Blacksher’s 91. Opp placed third with 40 followed by Monroe County with 27, Escambia County with 23 and Hillcrest with no points.
No individual scoring was known as of press time.
