Mrs. Reva Louise Howell Harper, 85, of Scott Road, died Sunday, April 17, 2011 in an Atmore nursing home after a brief illness. She was a native and life-long resident of

Escambia County. She was a member of South Bethel

Church and a retired nurse’s aid from D.W. McMillan Memorial Hospital.

She is survived by four sons, Rodney (Mary) Harper of Atmore, Randy (Freida) Chavers of Summerville, Don (Carolyn) Chavers of Priceville, and Jack Chavers of Atlanta, Ga.; a daughter, Dorothy Jean (Mickey) Boutwell of Flomaton; two brothers, Ronald Howell of Brewton, and Lavon Howell of Flomaton; 10 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, April 19, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 20, at 3 p.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Eddie Hammac officiating. Burial will follow in Catawba Springs Cemetery with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
