The sixth Annual Brewton area Chamber Golf Classic will be held Thursday, May 12 at the Country Club of Brewton. Lunch/Registration will be at 11:30 a.m., with a shotgun start at 1 p.m.
Spots are still available for teams, corporate sponsors and hole sponsors. The entry fees and prize money have changed.
Entry fees are as follows: Individual-$100, Team (4-person)-$400 (includes lunch, cart fee, green fee, range balls), Corporate Sponsorship- $500 (includes team entry, cart fee, green fee, range balls, sign on Clubhouse banner and sign on a tee), Hole Sponsorship-$100 (includes sign on a tee).
The hole in one car and prizes are sponsored by Peach Motors. Cash prizes for tournament winners include: first place: $500 ($125 each player); second place: $300 ($75 each player); third place: $200 ($50 each player).
Club gift certificates are available for contest winners including two closest to the pin contests, longest drive and straightest drive.
Cash prizes and gift certificates will be given away for contest winners.
Currently, corporate sponsors include Jim Peach Motors, Georgia-Pacific, Timberline Homes, Inc., BankTrust, and West Gate Village, LLC.
“The deadline for registration is April 29,” Chamber of Commerce Administrative Assistant Michelle Hart said. “The tournament is a good time for everyone involved and a major fundraiser for the Chamber. All funds raised go toward the daily operations of the Chamber, as well as community events the Chamber coordinates throughout the year.”
