Shirley Ann Kiser Kendrick

Mrs. Shirley Ann Kiser Kendrick, 49, of Forrest Avenue East Brewton, died Saturday, May 7, 2011 in a local hospital after a lengthy illness. She was a native and life long resident of Escambia County. She was a member of New Bethlehem Baptist Church and she was preceded in death by her mother and father, Floyd and Bamer Kiser; four brothers, Marvin Kiser, Clifford Kiser, Carlton Kiser and Claude Kiser.

She is survived by a daughter, Myia Barton of Lumberton, Texas; three sons, Herbert Macks, Jr. of Jay, Fla., and William Earl Macks and Eric (Damaris) Kendrick, both of Brewton; three sisters, Frances Cain of Batesville, Miss., Annie Ruth Capps of Brewton, and Helen Davis of Jay; five grandchildren, Levi Macks, Caleb Macks, Ava Barton, Logan Kendrick, and Clayton Kendrick.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, May 10, at 2 p.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Jesse Bohannon officiating. Burial followed at Pine Level Cemetery in Jay, with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral home directing.
