Ms. Darlene Morris, 48, died Tuesday, May 17, 2011 in a Pensacola hospital. She was a life-long resident of the Brewton area. She was a 1981 graduate of T.R. Miller High School; was employed by Container Corporation for 27 years, and was a member of Alco Baptist Church.

She is survived by her mother, Doris Ryals Morris of Brewton; life partner of 6 years, Cindy Freeman of Brewton; two sisters, Donna Sue (Rodney) Owens of Atmore, Debbie (Steve) Morris of Brewton; nephews, Jonathan (Angelique) Owens, Jason (Melissa) Owens, and Neill Morris; nieces, Stephanie (Robert) McCall, Jennifer (Matthew) Hopkins; five great-nephews and six great-nieces; a number of aunts, uncles, cousins and other family and friends.

Visitation will be held at Craver’s Funeral Home on Thursday, from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 20, at 2 p.m. from the chapel of Craver’s Funeral Home with the Rev. Jerry Caylor and the Rev. Steve Yuhasz officiating. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery.
