In Thursday Brewton Babe Ruth action, both the Orioles and Indians picked up 11-6 wins.
The Orioles defeated the Yankees 11-6 in the first game Thursday to improve to 3-3 while the Indians rallied to defeat the Cardinals 11-6 to improve to 6-1 and remain on top of the league standings.
As of Thursday night, the Indians were in first place with a 6-1 record followed by the Cardinals and Orioles at 3-3. The Pirates, who had Thursday off, are in fourth place with a 2-4 record followed by the Yankees in fifth with a 2-5 record.
In Tuesday games in Brewton, the Indians took down the Pirates in another 11-6 game while the Yankees picked up their second win with a 13-5 win over the Cardinals in game two.
Teams were set to play Friday at Johnson Park in East Brewton with the Cardinals and Orioles playing in the first game and the Yankees and Pirates set to tangle in game two.
Games are set to resume Monday in Brewton with the Pirates and Cardinals at 5:30 p.m. and the Orioles and Indians at 7:30 p.m.

Orioles 11, Yankees 6
The Orioles scored six runs in the first inning to propel them to a five-run win over the Yankees, 11-6.
Leading 6-0 after one inning, the Orioles added one in the second to take a 7-0 lead.
After both teams scored one run each in the third to see the Orioles take an 8-1, the Yankees cut the lead to 8-4 with three runs in the top of the fourth.
In the bottom of the inning, the Orioles plated two runs to take a 10-4 lead only to see the Yankees score two in the fifth to cut the lead to 10-6. The Orioles would add one in the bottom of the fifth to take an 11-6 lead and hold the Yankees scoreless in the sixth inning to get the win.
Kieon Smith earned the win on the mound for the Orioles going two innings and allowing two walks and struck out one. Justin Sessions went three innings and Caden Lodge closed the game out going one inning.
At the plate for the Orioles, Smith was 1-for-4 and Dominique Jackson was 1-for-2 with one RBI. Sessions had one RBI and Zac Griffin was 1-for-2 with two RBIs. Jared Salter was 2-for-3 with one RBI and Brooks Brown had one RBI.
Dakota Stokes was 2-for-2 with one RBI and Christian Mancil was 1-for-1 with one RBI.
For the Yankees, Colton Morris pitched 3 2/3 innings allowing six hits, 10 runs, eight earned, walked seven, struck out two and hit one. Cam Easterling went the final 1 1/3.
At the plate for the Yankees, Hunter Harp was 1-for-4 and Rob Jones was 2-for-2 with a triple and one RBI.
Easterling was 1-for-3 with one RBI and Dalton Shell was 2-for-3. Dakota Graves was 1-for-3 with a double and two RBIs.

Indians 11, Cardinals 6
Trailing 6-1 after the top of the third inning, the Indians scored five in the bottom of the inning to tie the game at 6-6 and added two runs in the fourth and three in the fifth to get a five-run win over the Cardinals and win 11-6.
The win for the Indians kept them in first place with seven games left in the 2011 season.
At the plate in the win for the Indians, Brandon Carmichael was 1-for-2 with one RBI and Rob Stokes was 2-for-2 with one RBI and a triple.
Keaton Parker was 1-for-1 and Tyler Joyner was 1-for-3 with one RBI.
Ryann Gray went 2-for-3 with two RBIs and Trin Miller was 1-for-3 with one RBI.
Joyner earned the win on the mound for the Indians going the complete game five innings allowing four hits, six runs, four earned, walked two and struck out eight.
For the Cardinals, Nick Laster was 1-for-2 along with Jones Manning who had one RBI.
Lowell Swain was 2-for-3 with a three RBI triple in the third inning.
Darby Black started the game on the mound and took the no-decision going three innings and allowing four hits, six runs, three earned, walked three, hit three and struck out eight.
Miles Powell went the final 1 1/3 in relief and took the loss allowing four hits, five runs, three earned, walked two and hit two.

Tuesday: Indians 11, Pirates 6
Despite giving up five runs in the fifth inning to the Pirates, the Indians improved their record with an 11-6 win over the Pirates Tuesday in Brewton.
Christopher Gehman, Trippe Floyd, and Brandon Carmichael pitched in the win while Nick and Patrick Glass and Taylor Elliott pitched for the Pirates.
At the plate for the Indians, Carmichael was 1-for-3 and Stokes was 1-for-2. Floyd was 1-for-2 with a double and Dylan Etheridge was 2-for-3. Christian Alvarez was 1-for-2.
For the Pirates, Elliott was 1-for-3 and Logan Allen was 1-for-3 with a double. Patrick Glass was 1-for-2 and Christopher Jones was 1-for-3 with one RBI.

Yankees 13, Cardinals 5
The Yankees scored eight runs in the third inning to get an eight-run win over the Cardinals, 13-5.
Rob Jones and Tim McDonald pitched in the win for the Yankees while James Peach, Laster, and Todd Mayo pitched for the Cardinals.
For the Yankees, Harp was 1-for-3 with two RBIs and Jones was 1-for-2 with one RBI. Easterling was 1-for-4 with one RBI and McDonald was 1-for-1 with one RBI. Graves was 2-for-3 with a double and one RBI.
For the Cardinals, Powell was 1-for-1 and Black was 1-for-2 along with Manning and Jonathon Lucas. Jake Najor was 1-for-3.
