Mr. Elvin Ray Carmichael, 77, died Saturday, May 28, 2011 in Daphne. He was a long time resident of Brewton, a member of the First Baptist Church of Brewton and a former employee of Smurfit-Stone Corp.
He is survived by his wife, Carol Carmichael of Brewton; two sons, Marcus Ray Carmichael of Panama City, Fla., Randall Neal Carmichael of Kingwood, Tex.; two sisters, Myrna Irvin and Marilyn Rebels, both of Mayo, Fla.; one brother, Edward Carmichael of Tarpon Springs, Fla.; three grandchildren, Rachael and Ryan of Panama City, Fla., and Neal of Houston, Tex.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 11 at 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Brewton. Family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until service time with Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Homes and Crematory, Inc., in charge of arrangements.
