Frederick Centanne

Mr. Frederick Centanne, 93, died Wednesday, June 1, 2011 in a Santa Rosa County hospital. He was a native of Gary, Ind., and a lifelong resident of Perdido. He was a retired employee of L&N Railroad, a World War II veteran, and attended the Perdido United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bertha Lorraine Centanne; his parents; two sisters and three brothers.

He is survived by two daughters, Joan Everett and Beverly Godwin, both of Perdido; four grandchildren, Tracey (George) Hendericks of Brewton, Tina Marmolejo of Daphne, Shawn Irle of Bay Minette and Kevin (Fabiola) Irle of Theodore; eight great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; a special friend, Helen Courtney of Perdido; and a number of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held Saturday, June 4, from 1 p.m. until funeral time at Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 4, at 3 p.m. at Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Floyd Dyal officiating. Burial will follow at Perdido Baptist Cemetery with Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home directing.
