Edward Lee Parker

Mr. Edward Lee Parker, 81 of Brewton, died Saturday, July 2, 2011 in a Pensacola, Fla., healthcare facility.
He was a native of Brewton, and a former resident of Pensacola, before returning to Brewton in 1996. He was a veteran of the Korean conflict, having served with the U.S. Army and worked with the U.S. Postal Service for a number of years. Mr. Parker was a member of Pineview Pentecostal Holiness Church.
He is survived by his wife, Juanita Parker of Brewton; four daughters, Barbara (Jessie) Merritt of Homer, La., Deborah (Will Booker) Bardin of Daphne, Rebecca (Kenny) Joseph of Repton, and Brenda (Tony Christian) Parker of Pensacola; two sisters, Jean Bradley of Pensacola, and Janette Parker of Ogden, Utah; nine grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held on Monday, July 4, at 11 a.m. from the chapel of Craver’s Funeral Home with the Rev. James Peacock officiating. Interment followed in Pineview Cemetery with Craver’s Funeral Home directing.
