An Escambia County man was fatally injured on Wednesday on Shadow Hill Drive, south of Brewton.

Alabama State Trooper Greg Eubanks said Charles Guy Dillashaw of Brewton was killed when the 1980 Chevrolet Z28 Camaro he was driving left the roadway and struck a tree at approximately 9:30 p.m.

“He actually struck several smaller trees,” Eubanks said. “He was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected from the car. He was pronounced dead at the scene.”

The Alabama State Troopers are still investigating the crash and no other information is available at this time.
