Mr. Robert ‘Bob’ Eugene Garrett Warren, 79, of Roswell, Ga., died Friday, August 12, 2011 in an Atlanta hospital after a brief illness. He was a native and former resident of Castleberry, before moving to Roswell. He attended Northbrook United Methodist Church in Roswell, and was a retired master chief petty officer radarman from the U.S. Navy with 20 years of service and a retired physical damage appraiser from Aetna Insurance with 20 years of service. He was preceded in death by a brother, Lester Warren.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Ann Bodiford Warren of Roswell; a son, Donald ‘Reggie’ Warren of Marietta, Ga.; a daughter, Jacquelyn Rene Warren of Woodstock, Ga.; a brother, Jimmy (Betty) Warren of Castleberry; two sisters, Juanita (Vernon) Kennedy of El Paso, Texas, and Eloise LeCroy of Montgomery; two grandchildren, Christina Leigh Warren and Taylor Casey Warren
Visitation will be held Monday, August 15, from 6 until 8 p.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Agust 16, at 11 a.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Doug Darby officiating. Burial will follow in Buffington Cemetery in Castleberry, with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
