The Escambia County Alabama chapter of the University of Alabama National Alumni Association will be hosting the 8th Annual Walter Lewis Golf Tournament, Thursday, Sept. 15.
The tournament, which is held at the Country Club of Brewton, will benefit the local scholarship fund.
Since 1995, the Walter Lewis endowed scholarship fund has awarded over $25,000 to outstanding area high school seniors to help pave the way for their education at the University of Alabama.
Registration will begin at 11 a.m. with a shotgun start at 1 p.m.
Cost is $100 per player/$400 per four-man team. This includes green fees, cart and lunch.
