TRM’s girls cross country team places first in Pace

The T.R. Miller Lady Tiger cross country team placed first in a race Tuesday in Pace while the boys team came in sixth.
The Lady Tigers scored 32 points to take first out of 16 teams, topping Pace by 59 spots. The boys team placed sixth out of 15 teams. T.R. Miller’s boys had 186 points, 132 behind Navarre who finished first with 54 points.
Pensacola Christian placed second with 86 points followed by Catholic with 104, Pace with 136 and Gulf Breeze’s 159.
For the Lady Tigers, Karisa Nelson placed first with a time of 19:38 and Allie Nelson placed second with a time of 21:01.
Other Lady Tigers who finished (placings were unknown as of press time) were Katie Nelson with a time of 22:26, Amber Nelson with a time of 22:27, and Breann Huff with a time of 22:55. Amber Terry followed with a time of 23:35 and Katie Baggett had a time of 23:38. Taylor Guthrie finished with a time of 25:12 and Morgan Rowell had a time of 26:10. Ashley Daugherty finished with a time of 27:16 and Hannah Blair had a time of 27:28. Shelby Evans rounded out the Lady Tigers with a time of 29:47.
For the boys, Rob Stokes was the top runner for the Tigers with a time of 17:39 which earned him a fifth place finish overall in the race. Christian Carlson placed 29th with a time of 19:22 and Andrew Pollitte finished 48th with a time of 20:10.
Ryan Snowden placed 51st with a time of 20:13 and Carter Frezell rounded of the placers for the Tigers with a 53rd place finish and a time of 20:14.
Ramon Castro had a time of 22:18 and D’Angelo Thomas had a time of 23:58.
John West finished with a time of 24:06 and Stewart Campbell had a time of 24:31. Travis Carlson had a time of 25:53 and Nash Diercks had a time of 26:40. Gavin McNeil and Austin Rowell rounded out the finishers for the Tigers. McNeil had a time of 27:18 and Rowell had a time of 28:40.
