Workers with the the Walker Brothers circus were busy preparing for two shows under the big top tonight in the old Winn Dixie shopping center on Douglas Avenue.
The weather may have slowed crews down in their work, but the show must go on and will do so at 5:30 and 7:30 p.m.
A portion of the proceeds from ticket sales for the circus will benefit the Yancey Jernigan Foundation which was created to offer information and resources to families in Escambia County who are facing cancer.
Tickets are $14 at the gate with many area businesses offering free children’s tickets through showtime tonight.
