“The Clarke County match was a battle,” T.R. Miller Lady Tiger head coach Greg White said. “Their girls came out playing hard and kind of hit us in the mouth and let us know they were ready to play. We were able to pull out a big 3-2 area win on the road over a very tough opponent. We didn’t do a lot of things perfect on the night but I was proud of the fact that we just kept playing hard and we found a way to win. As a coach you always want things to go perfect and sometimes that just doesn’t happen. On days like that you just have to do what you have to do to get the win. And that’s what we did tonight. We played with a little Miller pride when we needed it most.”

“Against Washington County we had an advantage on the net with our hitters and we used it throughout the night,” White said. “We moved up three of our JV players and they got a lot of playing time tonight and they provided our team with a little spark. I’m glad that they were able to get some varsity experience.”
