JDCC to hold Murder Creek Classic

Golf tourney to raise funds for Foundation projects at JDCC.

The Jefferson Davis Community College Foundation will host their golf tournament-the Murder Creek Classic— Thursday, Oct. 20, at the Country Club of Brewton.
The tournament will start at 12:15 p.m. with a shotgun start and will conclude around 4:30 p.m. Check-in and lunch begins at 11 a.m.
The Classic will be a four-person scramble format with men’s and mixed teams assigned to one of three flights according to handicap.
An entry fee of $400 per team or $100 per person will be administered with the fee including a tournament shirt, green and cart fees and lunch.
Prizes will be awarded to the top three teams in each flight with four or more teams.
A $250 cash prize will be given for the closest-to-the-pin during the shootout. The closest-to-the-pin will allow 12 golfers the opportunity.
The Jefferson Davis Community College Foundation funds foundation projects, primarily scholarships.
Registration forms to be in the tournament are due by Friday, Oct. 14.
