Mr. James “Andy” Andrew McDonald, 65, of Appleton Road died Tuesday October 18, 2011 in a local hospital after a brief illness. He was a native of Birmingham, and a life long resident of Escambia County. He was a member of Appleton Assembly of God Church, a U.S. Army veteran, a 1963 Graduate of W.S. Neal High School, a Graduate of Livingston University, and a retired School Teacher from W.S. Neal High School with 17 years of service.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara McCall McDonald of Brewton; his son, Russ (Sheila) McDonald of Brewton; and two grandchildren, Timothy McDonald and Bethany McDonald.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, October 21, at 10 a.m. at Appleton Assembly of God Church with Brother Russ McDonald and Brother Harlon Ard officiating. Burial followed in Weaver Cemetery Brewton, with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
