In recent East Brewton Youth Football playoff action Saturday, the 7-8 and 11-12 year-old teams won while the 9-10 team lost to be eliminated from playoff action.
The 7-8 won year olds won 24-6 against Georgina while the 9-10s lost to Evergreen 12-6.
The 11-12s won but no score was known as of press time.
With the wins, the two teams advanced to the second round, which decides the division champs on Saturday, Oct. 29 at East Brewton.
The winners will advance to the Super Bowl on Saturday, Nov. 5.
All three teams played their final regular season games on Saturday, Oct 15.
The 5-and-6-year olds end their season with a 5-1 record along with the 7-8 year old Tiny Mites. The Tiny Mites (7-8 year olds) lost to the Straughn Tigers in the last minute of the game when the Eagles threw an interception to set up the only score of the game. With the loss the Eagles fell to 5-1 but had already secured the No. 1 spot in the west. The Tiny Mites will play again Saturday at Evergreen in the first round of the playoffs against No. 3 Georgina at 12:45 p.m.
