Mrs. Margie Eleanor Waters, 78, of Century, died Monday, Nov. 21, 2011. She was a native of Flomaton and a lifetime member of the Flomaton and Century communities.  During her working years, she worked as a clerk for the City of Century and attended the Flomaton Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses.  She is preceded in death by her husband, James Donald Waters; a brother, Charles Johnson; a sister, Carol Griffis;  and a grandson, David Waters.

She is survived by her sons, James Waters and Bruce Waters, both of Flomaton, Donnie Waters of Canoe and Kevin Waters of Bratt, Fla.; daughters, Gloria Weatherford of Huxford, and Janie Knowles of Century; sisters, Grace Stokes of Jay, Margaret Bliley of Flomaton, and Edna Miller of De Funiak Springs, Fla.; 18 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Sunday, Nov. 27 from 1:30 p.m. until service time. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. from the chapel of Flomaton Funeral Home at 2 p.m. with Flomaton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
