For the first time this season, all three W.S. Neal High School basketball teams earned wins Thursday night at home against J.U. Blacksher.

“We have a lot of work to do for the boys and the girls,” W.S. Neal head girls and boys basketball coach Kason Whitten said. “In the girls game, we were not as sharp as we needed to be. Especially playing some of the teams we have coming up. We have to get a lot better. In the boys game, I have never seen that team before. I am happy for them and they are learning how to play. They are not just kids in uniforms, they are becoming basketball players. We are working on fundamentals and still have a lot to do, but I am happy for the kids and happy they are experiencing winning.”
W.S. Neal will be back in action Saturday, Dec. 10 at home against T.R. Miller. Game time is set for 4:30 p.m. The game had been originally scheduled for Friday, Dec. 9.
