In a road game at Hillcrest-Evergreen Monday night, the T.R. Miller B-team and varsity Tigers took losses while the Lady Tigers earned a win.
The B-team Tigers lost 40-29 to the Jaguars while the varsity Tigers lost 67-58. Both teams fell to 0-2.
For the Lady Tigers, T.R. Miller won 33-29 in overtime to get their third straight win and improve to 3-2 this season after losing their first two games of the season.
All three teams will be back in action Saturday at W.S. Neal. Game time is set for 4:30 p.m.

Hillcrest 40, TRM B-team 29
The T.R. Miller Tiger B-team lost to Hillcrest 40-29 Monday night to fall to 0-2.
Dominique Jackson led the Tigers in the loss with 11 points and Keion Smith added six points.
No other stats were known as of press time.

TRM Lady Tigers 33, Hillcrest 29 OT
It may have taken an overtime period to get the job done, but the T.R. Miller Lady Tiger basketball team earned a 33-29 over Hillcrest to get their third straight win.
The Lady Tigers led Hillcrest 5-3 after the first quarter and took a 15-11 lead at the half after a 10-8 advantage in the second quarter.
In the third, T.R. Miller edged out Hillcrest 7-4 to hold a 22-15 lead heading into the fourth quarter.
In the fourth, Hillcrest rallied back to outscore T.R. Miller 12-5 to tie the game at 27 and force overtime. In overtime, T.R. Miller edged out the Jaguars 5-2 to get the three-point win.
Leah Brundidge led T.R. Miller with 14 points in the win and LaTeysia Montgomery added 10. Shakera Nicholson chipped in seven points and Tianna Stallworth had one point.

Hillcrest 67, TRM varsity 58
After being outscored 37-21 in the first half, the T.R. Miller Tigers fought back in the second quarter and outscored Hillcrest 37-30, but fell short as they lost by nine points, 67-58.
Hillcrest jumped out to a 21-11 lead early on the Tigers in the first quarter and used a 16-10 run in the second to hold the 16-point lead at the half, 37-21.
In the third quarter, the Tigers cut into the lead by two points with a 19-17 advantage to trail 56-38 heading into the fourth.
In the fourth quarter, the Tigers outscored Hillcrest 20-11, but was unable to overcome their first half to take the loss by nine.
Darrion Salter led the Tigers in the loss with 25 points and Mark Bryant had 10. Kameron Winn added seven points and David Barragan chipped in six points.
Marc Edge had three points along with Jaquan Dewberry and Cornelius Tolbert had two points.
