Rickey ‘Rick’ Randell Pritchett

Mr. Rickey “Rick” Randell Pritchett, Sr., 56, Friday, Dec. 9, 2011 in a Salt Lake City, Utah, hospital after a brief illness. He was a native of Pensacola, a former resident of Century, Fla., and a long time resident of Semmes. He attendedĀ  Medical Center after a brief illness. He attended the Gospel Light Temple Church, attended Century High School, and worked for CCC
Group Industrial Construction as a millwright/foreman in the construction Industry. He was preceded in death by his father, the Rev. Wallace Reid; grandparents, Rural and Perry Lee Bush; and a nephew, Christopher Bell.
He is survived by his mother, Mattie Reid of Century; a daughter, Lawana (Heath) Madison of Brewton; two sons, Rickey (Nicole) Pritchett, Jr. of Jay, Fla., and Jeremi (Erin) Pritchett of Little Mountain, S.C.; three brothers, Joe (Myra) Reid and Lonnie Purvis, both of Century, and Glen (Tammy) Reid of Bluff Springs, Fla.; seven sisters, Claudia (Peewee) Tuberville of Semmes, Elaine Purvis of Pensacola, Margaret (Roger) Jackson of Century, Tammy (Aaron) Hodges of Cantonment, Fla., Joy (John) Purvis of Navarre, Fla., Robin Salter of Flomaton, and Amanda (James) Merritt of Blue Springs;
six grandchildren, Miranda Pritchett, Rickey Randell Pritchett, III, Landon Madison, Emma Madison, Carly Pritchett, and Jesseca Sissy Pritchett; a number of other family members and friends.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Dec. 15, at 10 a.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with Minister Carl Wilson and the Rev. Cathy Stopel officiating. Burial followed in Byrneville Cemetery with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
