Mrs. Inetta West Blair, 80, of Cooper Cemetery Road, died Saturday, Dec. 31, 2011, at a local nursing facility after an extended illness. She was a native of Escambia County, and a former resident of Mobile before moving to Brewton. She was a former employee of Chemstrand and Elmore’s Five and Ten, and a charter member of Appleton Assembly of God Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth William
Blair; two sons, Donald Gene Baker and Terry Blair; and a sister, Clara Mae Murph.
She is survived by a son, William Douglas Baker of Brewton; a daughter, Doris Lynette Sutton of Brewton; two brothers, James West and Edgar West, both of Mobile; a sister, Gladys Fuqua of Brewton; eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Jan. 4, at 2 p.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Weaver Cemetery
