Mrs. Hester Ruth Franklin Booth, 88, died Saturday, Feb. 4, 2012 at a Baldwin County hospital. She was a native of Brewton and a resident of Bay Minette. She retired from the Department of Human Resources for the State of Alabama. She was a member of First Baptist Church, a life member of North Baldwin Infirmary Auxiliary and a member of NARFE Baldwin County Chapter. She was preceded in death by her husband, Woodrow Booth.
She is survived by two nieces, Ila Brown and Marilyn Muzzy, both of Pensacola, Fla.; one nephew, Sammy Evans of Brewton; and several other family members and friends.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, Feb. 8, from 10 to 11 a.m at First Baptist Church of Bay Minette.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Feb. 8 at 11 a.m. at the church, with the Rev. Bill Carr officiating. Burial will follow at Bay Minette Cemetery with Norris Funeral Home directing.
