Charles J. ‘Chuck’ Black Jr.

Mr. Charles J. “Chuck” Black, Jr., 58, died Thursday, Feb. 2, 2012 at his residence after a brief illness. He was a native of Indiana and a long time resident of Flomaton. He attended Beulah Holiness Church and Cannan Freewill Baptist Church and was a U.S. Army veteran. He attended W.S. Neal High School, and was a truck driver in the transportation industry.
He is survived by a significant other, Diane Beasley of Flomaton; two sons, Charles J. Black III of Brewton, and Joe (April) Black of Indiana; two stepsons, Colt Bell and Clay Bell, both of Flomaton; a daughter, Celes Boutwell of Flomaton; four brothers, Michael Black, Tom Black, Bill Black and Lester Black, all of Indiana; and six grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held Thursday, Feb. 9, at 10 a.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with Brother Eddie Hammac officiating and Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
