Mr. John Dana Lowery, 56, of Ridge Road Brewton died Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2012 in a Pensacola, Fla., hospital after a brief illness. He was a native and life-long resident of Brewton; was a member of Ridge Road Baptist Church, attended W.S. Neal High School, and was a retired auto parts salesman.
He was preceded in death by his father, William Thomas Lowery and his wife, Vanessa Belveal Lowery.

He is survived by his mother, Idelle Lanier Lowery of Brewton; a son, Patrick (Holly) Lowery of Brewton; four daughters, Rhonda (Terry) Pate, Jennifer (Danny) Smith and Sarah Lowery of Brewton; and Katie (John) Fowler of Flomaton; two brothers, Mike (Sue) Lowery of Brewton and Joel (Carla) Lowery of Milton, Fla.; and five grandchildren, Billie Strength, Caleb Strength, Regan Strength, Josie Smith and Dalton Fowler.
Visitation will be held Thursday, Feb. 23 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home.
Funeral Services are scheduled for Friday, Feb. 24 at 10 a.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Danny Benjamin officiating. Burial will follow in Fort Crawford Cemetery in East Brewton with Wiliams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
