Thomas Allen ‘Tommy’ Sellers

Mr. Thomas Allen “Tommy” Sellers, 68, of the Sellersville community, died Monday, Feb. 27, at his residence after a brief illness. He was a native of Mobile, and a longtime resident of Brewton. He attended Yahweh’s Tabernacle Church and a graduate of Munson High School. He was a retired maintenance employee  from the Escambia County School System with 20 years of service.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda Lowery Sellers of Brewton; a daughter, Vialva (David) Harrison of Brewton; six sisters, Shirley Watson of Sylvester, Ga., Jewel Phillips and Barbara Phillips, both of Brewton, Bonnie Phillips of Franklin, North Carolina, Marilyn Howard of Bethel, and Mary Carroll of East Brewton; three grandchildren, Neelee Bay Harrison, Karis Meloy Harrison, and River Sellers Harrison.
Funeral Services will be  held Thursday, March 1, at 2 p.m. at Yahweh’s Tabernacle Church in the Dixonville, with the Rev. Harold Pettis, the Rev. Bonnie Pettis, and the Rev. David Harrison officiating. Burial will follow at Sellersville Cemetery with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
