JDCC baseball swept at Enterprise

The Jefferson Davis Community College Warhawk baseball team fell to 10-13 overall and to 2-4 in conference play Tuesday as they were swept by Enterprise State.
JDCC lost game one to Enterprise 2-0 and game two 4-2.
JDCC will play LBW at home Saturday in a conference game. Game time is set for noon.

Enterprise 2, JDCC 0
In game one, JDCC was held to no runs and four hits and committed two errors while Enterprise scored two runs on 12 hits and made one error.
Enterprise scored one run in the first inning and one in the fifth to get the win.
Brandon Blackwelder, Dillan Schaniel, Corey Lane and Trae Walsingham all had one hit each in the loss.
Michael Yarborough went six innings on the mound and took the loss. Yarborough allowed five hits, two runs, one earned, walked one and struck out two.

Enterprise 4, JDCC 2
In game two, Enterprise scored three runs in the fourth inning to get a 4-2 win over the Warhawks.
Joey Hedden took the loss on the mound allowing eight hits, four runs, no walks and struck out two.
Tyler Howell pitched two innings and allowed three hits and struck out three.
Nathan Edwards was 1-for-1 and Schaniel was 3-for-3 with one RBI. Lane was 1-for-1 and Kyle Freeman was 2-for-3 with one RBI in the loss.
