Martha Jean Trawick Savage

Mrs. Martha Jean Trawick Savage, 71, of Old Castleberry Road, died Monday March 12, 2012 in a local hospital after a brief illness. She was a native of Brewton, and a former resident of Pace, Fla., before moving back to Brewton in 2005. She was a member of North Brewton Baptist Church, a 1958 graduate of W.S. Neal High School, and was retired from Monsanto with 37 years of service.
She is survived by her husband, Billy Savage of Brewton; two sons, Michael S. Booker of Clarksville, Tenn., and Jeff (Tina) Booker of Riverview; one daughter, Debra (Jerry) Shriver of New York; two step-daughters, Teresa (Jeff) Barnett of Mobile, and Lisa Smith of DeFuniak Springs, Fla.; two brothers, Buddy (Shelia) Trawick of Century, Fla., and Stanley (Cindy) Trawick of Pensacola, Fla.; two sisters, Pamela (Lynn) Slate of Jay, Fla., and Jenny Summers of Repton; two grandchildren, Branden (Trease) Booker and Michelle Booker; a great-grandson- Parker Booker; and four step-grandchildren, Michael Barnett, Matthew Barnett, Caroline (Dusty) Aldrich and Robert Meyers..
Visitation will be held Thursday, March 15, from 6 until 8 p.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel.
Funeral services will be held Friday, March 16, at 10 a.m. at North Brewton Baptist Church with the Rev. Michael King officiating. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
