TRM baseball beats Atmore again, JV Tigers win 8-0

The No. 3-ranked T.R. Miller Tiger baseball team saw their winning streak increase to four straight wins Friday at home against Atmore as they defeated the Blue Devils 10-0.
T.R. Miller, now 6-2 overall, scored two runs in the first innings, five in the second and three in the fifth inning while holding the Blue Devils scoreless to get the 10-run mercy rule win in five innings.
Tyler Dehoff earned the win on the mound for the Tigers. Dehoff went three innings allowing no runs, one hit, walked one and struck out five.
Kyle Davis went the final two innings and allowed no runs, no hits, no walks and struck out five.
At the plate, the tigers pounded on 10 runs on nine hits.
Collin Graves and Dominique Jackson were both 1-for-2 with doubles. Graves had one RBI and Jackson had two.
Conner Denton was 1-for-2 with two RBIs and Kevin Davis was 1-for-1 with one RBI.
Jacob Fillmore was 1-for-1 with one RBI and Ryan Hunt was 2-for-2 with a three-RBI triple.
Cody Smith was 1-for-1 and Kyle Davis was 1-for-1 with one RBI.
In JV action against the Blue Devils, T.R. Miller earned an 8-0 win to improve to 2-1.
The Tigers scored four runs in the first inning and added one run in the second and third innings and two in the fourth to seal the win.
Chris Jones was 1-for-1 with a double and two runs scored while Tripp Floyd was 1-for-3 with a triple and one run scored.
Jared Cooper earned the win on the mound as he worked two innings striking out four.
Floyd went two innings allowing one hit and struck out four and Ryan Gray went the final inning and struck out two and walked one.
T.R. Miller was scheduled to play at home Tuesday against Jay. The Tigers will play in a doubleheader Saturday at Northview. Time is TBA.
