Mr. Floyd E. Cain, 71, of Schad Street, died suddenly Tuesday, March 6, 2012 in a Pensacola, Fla., hospital. He was a native and life long resident of Escambia County, and was of the Holiness Faith. He was a retired equipment operator from Escambia County, with 20 years of service. He was preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Lillian Cain.

He is survived by a son, Mark Cain of East Brewton; a daughter, Cindy (Carl) Phelps of Brewton; three brothers, Calvin Cain and Jack Cain, both of Brewton, and Tommy Cain of Andalusia; a sister, Joyce Eckenrod of Andalusia; seven grandchildren, Ashley Nelson, Angela Phillips, Tameeka Briggs, Lori Griggs, Connor Phelps, Derrick Phelps and Paige Phelps; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Friday, March 9, at 11 a.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Byrnes Pitts officiating.
