In a golf match Monday in Monroeville, the T.R. Miller golf team placed third out of five teams.
T.R. Miller finished third behind Andalusia and Monroe County in the match. J.U. Blacksher placed fourth and Excel placed fifth.
Andalusia shot a total score of 145 in the match followed by a 163 by Monroe County. T.R. Miller shot a 174 and Blacksher shot a 187. Excel rounded out the five-team match with a score of 211.
Mooney Nalty led the Tigers with a score of 42 and Rob Stokes shot a 43. Chandler Brown shot a 44 and Will Smith shot a 45.
T.R. Miller will be back at home at the Country Club of Brewton Monday, March 26 against W.S. Neal, Andalusia and Atmore.
