Interested parents and members of the community are welcome to attend an upcoming meeting of the Federal Programs Advisory Committee of the Escambia County Board of Education.

The meeting, plan for April 10, will be held at the Atmore central office located at 501 South Pensacola Ave. The meeting will begin promptly at 1 p.m.

According to committee officials, the purpose of the meeting is to inform and involve parents, community, and all stakeholders in regular, two-way and meaningful communication involving policies, funds, evaluation, student academic learning, and school activities.
