John Lee Henley

Mr. John Lee Henley, 83, died March 26, 2012. He was a native of Falco, grew up in the Bradley community, and a resident of Milton, Fla. He was a veteran of World War II, Korea and Vietnam serving in the U.S. Air Force and retiring in 1973. He was employed by the U.S. Postal Service for 18 years, and was preceded in death by his parents, Lorenzo and Lucy Henley; a son, Ed Catron; his brothers,  Wilmer, Grover, Edward (Doc), and Dan Henley; his sisters, Nell Peterson, Ruth DeBusk, and Daisy Cato.
He is survived by his wife, Ingrid Henley; daughters, Susanne (Jim) Garrett of Salt Lake City, Utah, Marsha McGaha of Brewton, Joan Vines of McLean, Va., and Tammy (James) Yates of Campbellton Fla.; a daughter-in-law, Sherry Catron of Huntsville; a sister, Von Bergschneider of Crestview, Fla.; grandchildren, Ashley (Yannos) Misitzis of McLean, Va., Brandon (Ashley) Catron of Huntsville, Chris Garrett of San Francisco, Calif., Tiffany (Brad) Neeley of Huntsville, and Michael McGaha and Hannah McGaha, both of Brewton; great- grandchildren, Jayden Catron and Ciena Catron of Huntsville, Zoe Misitzis of McLean; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral services were held Thursday, March 29, at 3 p.m. at Bradley Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Roy Davis officiating. Burial followed at Old Bradley Cemetery with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
