L.D. Boyette

Mr. L.D. Boyett, 81, of Spruce Avenue, died Friday, March 30, 2012 in a Pensacola, Fla., hospice facility after a brief illness. He was a native of Brewton, and a long time resident of Mobile, before moving back to Brewton. He was of the Assembly of God faith, and was a U.S. Army veteran having served in the Korean Conflict, He was a retired aircraft maintenance supervisor from the Civil Service with 30 years of service. He was preceded in death by a sister, Kathleen Boyett Palmer.
He is survived by a brother, Charles (Frances) Boyett of Pensacola; two nephews, Byron Palmer of East Brewton, and Michael Boyett of Pensacola; four nieces, Jerry Anthony, Barbara Selman and Karen Yuhasz, all of Brewton, and Sue Jernigan of East Brewton; and a cousin, Mary Julia Albbott of Mobile.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 3, at 2 p.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Jeff Edwards officiating. Burial will follow in Fort Crawford Cemetery with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing. Condolences may be sent and obituaries can be read at williamsmemorialchapel.com.
