Brewton Yankees cruise to 25-2 win over Flomaton Monday

The Brewton Cal Ripken Yankees picked up a huge win over Flomaton No. 1 Monday as they cruised to a 23-run win, 25-2.
Logan Bush and Ty Harvell combined to pitch a one-hitter over Flomaton in the win. Bush earned the win on the mound for the Brewton Yankees going three innings and allowing one hit, no runs, walked two and struck out five.
Harvell went one inning and allowed no hits, two runs, walked three and struck out two. The Yankees pounded out 19 hits in the win.
At the plate for the Yankees, Bush was 4-for-5 with a triple and three singles and scored four runs in the win.
Blake Jernigan was 3-for-4 with three singles and three runs scored and Brandon Smith was 3-for-4 with an inside-the-park homerun, two singles and two runs scored.
The hits for the Yankees did not stop there as Stone Martin was 1-for-1 with a single and one run scored and Brandon Coleman was 1-for-2 with a single and one run scored. Landon Qualls was 2-for-4 with two singles and scored four runs in the win and J.D. Hartin was 2-for-4 with two singles and scored four runs in the win.
Jaxson Flores went 2-for-2 with a double and a single and scored two runs and Earl Dolihite was 1-for-3 with a single.
Scoring runs for the Yankees in the win was Ty Harvell and Mac Baxter with one run each and Cole Jernigan with three runs scored.
