The Jefferson Davis Community College Lady Warhawk softball team improved to 4-0 in conference play Tuesday in Monroeville as they swept the Alabama Southern Lady Eagles.
JDCC, now 16-24 overall and 4-0 in area play, won game one over ASCC 15-8 and took game two 14-3.
While outscoring Alabama Southern 29-11 in the two games, JDCC pounded out 34 hits.
The Lady Warhawks were scheduled to play at LBW Wednesday and will return to action next Wednesday, April 11, at Bishop State. JDCC will be back in action at home, April 13, against LBW. Game time is set for 1 and 3 p.m.

JDCC 15, ASCC 8
Down 3-2 to ASCC after three innings, JDCC scored six runs in the fourth inning and five in the fifth to help send them to a seven-run win over ASCC, 15-8.
With the two big innings, JDCC led 13-3 after the top of the fifth inning but ASCC scored four in the bottom of the inning to cut the lead to 13-7 heading to the sixth inning.
JDCC would add one each in the sixth and seventh while ASCC added one in the sixth.
Jennifer Fisher led JDCC at the plate with a 2-for-4 day and drove in five RBIs. Breana Still and Morgan Agerton both had three hits each with Still have two RBIs and Agerton adding one.
Dymon Coachman and Carley Parker were both 4-for-5 at the plate with Coachman having two RBIs and Parker adding three. Amber Steadham, Paige Odom and Crysta Paulson all had one hit each.
On the mound for JDCC, Mallori Armstrong and Jaime Sanders combined for the win.
The duo went seven innings and allowed 12 hits, eight runs, three earned, walked two, and struck out three.

JDCC 14, ASCC 3
In game two against ASCC, JDCC took down the Lady Eagles 14-3 to finish off the sweep.
JDCC scored four runs each in the second, third and fourth innings and added two more in the fifth while holding ASCC to one run each in the first, third and fourth innings.
Elissa Kelly earned the win on the mound going five innings and allowing five hits, three runs, one earned, walked one and struck out three.
Agerton went 3-for-4 with five RBIs in the win while Still was 1-for-3 with three RBIs.
Steadham, Paulson, and Parker had two hits each while Coachman had three hits.
Paige Harwell and Odom had one hit each. Paulson and Coachman had two RBIs while Harwell had one.
