The Brewton Cal Ripken Angels went 1-1 in their recent two games Monday and Tuesday.
Monday, the Angels lost to the East Brewton Yankees 8-2 but regrouped on Tuesday to down the Mets 15-7.

Monday, April 2: EB Yankees 8, Angels 2
In an interleague game between the East Brewton Yankees and the Brewton Angels, the Yankees came out with an 8-2 win.
For the Yankees, Austin Majors was 1-for-3 and Conner Huskey was 3-for-3. Brandon Moye was 2-for-2 with a double.
Majors started on the mound for the Yankees and pitched four innings, allowing two hits, struck out seven, walked one, and hit one batter.
Huskey pitched two innings and allowed one hit, struck out four, and walked one.
For the Angels, Drew Williamson was 2-for-3 with a double and Daniel Blair was 1-for-2 with a double.
Williamson pitched 4 2/3 innings and allowed six hits, struck out 10, and walked three.
Russell Smith pitched 1/3 of an inning and struck out one and walked one. Hayden Atkinson pitched one inning and did not allow a hit and struck out two.

Tuesday, April 3: Angels 15, Mets 7
In their Tuesday game against the Mets, the Angels got back on the winning track with a 15-7 win.
Williamson was 3-for-5 with a homerun, a triple and a single and Etheridge was 3-for-4 with two homeruns and a double.
Russell Smith was 2-for-4 with a triple and a double) and Atkinson was 3-for-3 with three doubles.
Blair was 3-for-3 with a double and two singles and Smith was 2-for-4 with a double and a single. Todd Watson rounded out the Angel hitters with a 1-for-3 day at the plate.
Etheridge started on the mound and pitched two innings, allowing five hits, struck out one, and walked none.
Smith pitched four innings and allowed two hits, struck out three, and walked one.
For the Mets, Micah Flores was 2-for-3, Hunter Johnson was 1-for-3 and Jason Konsler was 2-for-2 with two doubles. Cameron Pope went 1-for-3 with a double and Lyon Jernigan was 1-for-1.
Daniel Reed started for the Mets on the mound and pitched 3 2/3 innings, allowing nine hits, struck out five, and walked three.
Flores pitched 2 2/3 innings and allowed eight hits, struck out four, and walked one.
