EB Yankees, Rangers and Dodgers get recent wins in Cal Ripken games

In recent East Brewton Cal Ripken baseball and softball games Friday and Monday, the Yankees, Rangers, and Dodgers all picked up wins.
The Yankees defeated the Canes 13-0 while the Rangers defeated the Brewton Angels 9-8.
In games Monday, the Yankees took down the Rangers 8-1 while the Dodgers edged out the Canes 10-9.

Yankees 13, Canes 0
Yankee pitchers Kristian Taylor and Jeremy Sims combined to allow one hit in a 13-0 shutout win over the Canes.
Taylor and Sims allowed one hit, no runs, one walk and struck out nine.
At the plate, Hunter Revel was 2-for-3 with two doubles and Brandon Moye was 1-for-3 with a double.
Taylor was 1-for-2 along with Austin Majors while Tucker Davenport was 1-for-2 with a double. Conner Huskey was 1-for-1 with a double and Josh Barksdale scored one run in the win.
For the Canes, Dillon Emmons pitched in the loss allowing seven hits, 13 runs, seven walks and struck out six. Emmons had the lone hit for the Canes.

Rangers 9, Brewton Angels 8
The East Brewton Rangers edged out the Brewton Angels 9-0 in an interleague game Friday.
Jacobey Hawthorne and Matt Hutchins combined for the win on the mound allowing five hits, eight runs, walked and struck out eight.
Hutchins was 3-for-3 with two triples while Jared Busby was 2-for-3 with two singles.
Weston Riddle, P.J. Lovelace, Morgan Riley, Aaron Bosarge and Hayden Winchester all had singles in the win.
For the Angels of Brewton, Drew Williamson took the loss allowing 10 hits, nine runs, one walk and struck out eight.
At the plate, Williamson was 2-for-3 with a double and Hayden Atkinson was 3-for-3 with a three-run homerun. Russell Smith was 2-for-3.

Yankees 8, Rangers 1
In an 8-1 win over the Rangers, the Yankees used pitching again to key a win as Austin Majors pitched a no hitter.
Majors allowed no hits, one run, walked five and struck out 10 in the win.
At the plate for the Yankees, Brandon Moye was 3-for-3 with two doubles while Majors and Huskey both had two singles each while Taylor and Jacob Crane had one each.
For the Rangers, Riddle scored the lone run.
On the mound in the loss, Hawthorne and Riddle combined to allow nine hits, eight runs, walked five and struck out eight.

Dodgers 10, Canes 9
In softball action, the Dodgers defeated the Canes 10-9.
Ashli Wyatt was the winning pitcher allowing nine hits, nine runs, walked seven and struck out three.
The Dodgers had one hit in the win come from Kendall Carpenter. Carpenter’s hit was a double.
For the Canes, Avery Vickery pitched in the loss, allowing one hit, 10 runs, 16 walks, and struck out five.
Kenzie Patterson had one hit while Sydni Atkinson had one. Gabby Patterson was 3-for-3 with a single, double and a triple and Lucie Thorpe was 2-for-2. Anna Knowles had one hit.
