Second innings costs TRM softball at Clarke County

Six errors in the second inning led to 11 runs for the Clarke County Lady Bulldogs as they defeated the T.R. Miller lady Tigers 13-3 Thursday in Grove Hill.
T.R. Miller fell to 16-10 overall and to 3-3 in area play with the 10-run loss.
The Lady Tigers led 1-0 after the top of the second before falling behind 11-1 heading to the third inning. After T.R. Miller cut the lead to 11-3 after the top of the third, Clarke County added one in the fourth and one in the sixth while hold the Lady Tigers scoreless the remainder of the game to win by 10 in six innings.
Laurel Billy took the loss on the mound walking three, hitting four, allowing six hits.
Leah Brundidge was 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI and stole home. Lauren Ward was 1-for-2 and Taylor Austin had an RBI.
