In round two of playoff action in Mobile, W.S. Neal’s Blue Eagle baseball team evened the series with UMS-Wright tonight.

The Eagles dropped game one in the opening of the series against UMS by a score of 8-3. Six runs in the game were unearned by UMS. The game put the Eagles down 0-1 in the series.

In game two, the Eagles earned the win against the Mobile team ending the game 6-4.

The win in the second game puts the Eagles up for another match up against UMS-Wright on Saturday with game three at 1 p.m.

The Eagles will take the field as visitors in that game. If the Eagles are victorious Saturday, the win would put them into the third round of playoffs heading for the state championship. That game would be played against St. James at home in East Brewton Friday.
