Ms. Vera Bush Pugh, 92, a resident of Castleberry, died Friday, May 4, 2012, after an extended illness. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Kate Waters.
She is survived by three sons, Ray (Ceil) Oliver of Mobile, Bill (Norma) Oliver of Snellville, Ga., and Larry (Valerie) Bush of Bainbridge, Ga.; a sister, Edna Mae Barlow of Castleberry; eight Grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and a number of nieces and nephews.
There will be a memorial service at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 26, at New London Baptist Church near Castleberry, with Johnson Funeral Home of Georgiana directing.
