EB Cal Ripken teams play final games Tuesday

In the final Cal Ripken games of the 2012 season Tuesday in East Brewton, the Yankees, Tigers, Pirates and Rangers all came away with wins.
The Yankees cruised their way to a 14-1 win over Flomaton White while the Tigers doubled up the Pirates 4-2.
In a game between the Pirates and Cardinals, the Pirates ended with an 11-7 win. For the Rangers, they defeated the Brewton Mets 5-2 and Flomaton Two 11-6.

Yankees 14, Flomaton White 1
A trio of Yankees pitchers—Jeremy Sims, Kristian Taylor and Brandon Moye—held Flomaton to only one hit as the Yankees earned a 13-run win, 14-1.
Sims, Taylor and Moye combined to allow one hit, one run, walked four and struck out 11 in the win.
Robert Samson had the lone hit for Flomaton.
At the plate for the Yankees in the win, Hunter Revel had two singles, Austin Majors had a double and Tucker Davenport had a single.
For Flomaton on the mound, Hunter White, Riley Hammon, Samson and Joseph Carpenter combined to allowed four hits, 14 runs, walked eight and struck out seven.

Tigers 4, Pirates 2
In a 10U game Tuesday, the Tigers defeated the Pirates 4-2.
Dylan Ingram went the distance on the mound for the Tigers and earned the win as he allowed two hits, two runs, walked seven and struck out 14.
At the plate for the Tigers, Jordan Crane and Jacob Bondurant had a single each.
For the Pirates, Issac Smith pitched and allowed two hits, four runs, walked seven and struck out five.
Sawyer Lewis and Jennings Hobbs had a double each for the Pirates.

Pirates 11, Cardinals 7
In another game for the Pirates, the Pirates defeated the Cardinals 11-7.
Hobbs earned the win on the mound as he allowed five hits, seven runs, walked and struck out four.
At the plate for the Pirates, Paxton Scurlock had two singles and an inside-the-park homerun. Hobbs had three singles and Sawyer Lewis had one.
For the Cardinals, Konner Wood and Samuel Bosarge pitched and combined to allow seven hits, 11 runs, nine walks and struck out three.
At the plate, Bosarge had two singles while Shannon Stacey, Josh McCall and Wood all had a single each.

Rangers 5, Brewton Mets 2
In an interleague 12U game, the EB Rangers defeated the Brewton Mets 5-2.
Weston Riddle earned the win on the mound and allowed four hits, two runs, walked two and struck out eight.
Matt Hutchins had the lone hit for the Rangers.
For the Brewton Mets, Jason Konsler and Cameron Pope pitched and allowed one hit, five runs, walked eight and struck out nine.
Hunter Johnson, Konsler and Micah Flores had a single each while Pope had a double.

Rangers 11, Flomaton Two 6
The Rangers earned their second win of the night as they defeated Flomaton two 11-6.
Tyler Pierce, Christian Nelson and Jacobey Hawthorne pitched in the win and allowed three hits, six runs, walked nine and struck out eight.
Hawthorne had two singles in the win at the plate and Jared Busby had a single.
Weston Riddle and Matt Hutchins added a double each and P.J. Lovelace had a single.
For Flomaton, Cruz Odom and Dillon Emmons pitched in the loss and allowed six hits, 11 runs, walked six and struck out five.
Hayden Winchester had a single and Brandon Gulsby and Emmons had a double each.
