In an effort to expose children to lessons from the Bible, area churches typically offer a time of learning and fun for students each summer.
In years past, vacation Bible school sessions were aimed primarily at youth. However, many churches now include programs attractive and educational for adults.
Several churches throughout the Brewton and East Brewton area have conducted vacation Bible School sessions with others holding special sessions in the coming weeks.
Churches who have sessions planned in the coming weeks are First Baptist Church of East Brewton, First Church of the Nazarene, First United Methodist Church of Brewton, Wallace First Baptist Church, First Baptist Church of Brewton and Baptist Hill Missionary Baptist Church.
