The Brewton Babe Ruth games Thursday night were cut short due to weather conditions in the Brewton area.
In games in Brewton, the Braves and Phillies were tied 9-9 heading into the top of the eighth inning when the game was stopped and postponed.
In East Brewton, the Astros took down the Padres 14-4 before game two was also postponed.
Thursday’s games will be made up Friday, June 8 at 5 p.m. at the same locations. The Braves and Phillies will finish their game one and start game two afterwards while the Astros and Padres will start with their game two.
After Thursday’s games, the Astros remained in first place with a 12-3 record while the Padres dropped to 8-7 to fall into third place. The Braves remained in second place with an 8-6 record while the Phillies were in fourth place with a 1-13 record.
Games are set to resume Tuesday with the Astros and Phillies playing at 5 p.m. in Brewton at T.R. Miller and the Padres and Braves playing at 5 p.m. in East Brewton at Johnson Park.

Astros 14, Padres 4
The Astros scored early and often in game one against the Padres Thursday in East Brewton to claim a 10-run win in five innings, 14-4.
The Astros scored five runs in the first inning, three in the second and four in the third to lead 12-0 heading to the bottom of the third.
In the third inning, the Padres cut the lead to 12-3 after a Chris Jones homerun, but were outscored 2-1 in the fifth inning after a scoreless fourth to take the loss.
At the plate for the Astros in the win, Tyler Joyner had two singles and three RBIs and Mike Williams added a single and one RBI.
Tim McDonald had a double and two singles and three RBIs and Jones Manning added a single and one RBI.
Taylor Elliott had two singles and two RBIs while Dylan Etheridge had a single.
For the Padres, Brooks Brown had a single and Rob Jones had a double. Chris Jones had a three-run homerun and a single and Justin Sessions had one RBI.
Lane Chavers, Tyler Hoomes, Jonathan Lucas and Landon Salter all had a single each.
Justin Sessions took the loss on the mound for the Padres. Colton Morris and Lane Chavers also pitched in the loss.
For the Astros, Tim McDonald earned the win as he went the first two innings. Stokes Jennings went the final three innings.

Phillies 9, Braves 9
The Phillies rallied from a 9-3 deficit in the bottom of the third to tie the game at 9-9 and force extra innings before weather conditions postponed the game Thursday in Brewton.
The Braves led the Phillies 4-3 after the first inning and 9-3 heading into the bottom of the third inning following a scoreless second inning for both teams.
In the third, the Phillies plated two runs to cut the lead to 9-5 and added four more in the fourth inning to tie the game at 9-9.
The Phillies had their chance to win the game in the bottom of the seventh inning, as they had runners reach base by hit-by-pitch and advance to second and third base with one out but could not get the winning run home before the game was called.
Through seven innings at the plate for the Braves, Keaton Parker and Jo Jo Booker were both 2-for-4 with Parker having two RBIs and Booker having one.
Miles Powell was 2-for-3 with one RBI and a triple and Malcolm Hawthorne was 2-for-3 with two RBIs.
Hunter Harp was 2-for-3 and Robin Swift was 1-for-4 with one RBI. Todd Mayo was 1-for-3.
Alex O’Keane got the start on the mound and went the first two innings and allowed two hits, three earned runs, walked three and struck out one.
Austin Holmes went the next 1 1/3 innings and allowed five hits, six runs, five earned, walked three and struck out one.
Hunter Harp went the next 2 2/3 innings and allowed three hits, no runs, no walks and struck out two.
Powell went the seventh inning and struck out two and hit two batters.
For the Phillies, Tripp Floyd was 1-for-3 and Jake Najor was 3-for-4 with one RBI along with Jared Cooper. Hunter Brittain was 1-for-2 with one RBI while Ethan Bollenbacher and Caleb Winton were both 1-for-3.
Winton was on the mound for the Phillies and had went seven innings allowing 12 hits, nine runs, seven earned, walked three and struck out five.
