Area churches plan VBS session

In an effort to expose children to lessons from the Bible, area churches typically offer a time of learning and fun for students each summer.
In years past, vacation Bible school sessions were amidly primarily at youth. However, many churches now include programs attractive and educational for adults.
Several churches throughout the Brewton and East Brewton area have conducted vacation Bible School sessions with others holding special sessions in the coming weeks.
Sessions planned in the coming weeks are:

Calvary Mennonite Church in Appleton

Monday, June 18 through Saturday, June 23 at 7 p.m. nightly. Classes are for children age 3 through adult. The them will be “Taste and See God is Good.” The church is located on Mason Mill Pond Road in Appleton.

North Brewton Baptist Church
Set for June 24-28, from 6 to 8:30 p.m., theĀ  theme is Everything is Possible in God, and is for kindergarten age through sixth grade. There will be a family night conclusion on Friday night.

Wallace First Baptist Church
Vacation Bible school is set for June 11-15 from 6 to 8 p.m. nightly. The theme will be Amazing Wonders Aviation and ages three years through the sixth grade are welcome to attend.
