The Brewton Babe Ruth league resumed makeup games from earlier in the season Friday and saw the Phillies and Braves split while the Astros edged out the Padres.
In action with the Phillies and Braves, in game one the two teams picked up a 9-9 game in extra innings with the Phillies winning in the bottom of the 10th 10-9.
In game two, the Braves cruised to an 11-1 win over the Phillies to salvage the split.
For the Astros and Padres Friday, the Astros rallied from a three-run deficit in the sixth inning to come away with a one-run win 14-13.
Following Friday’s games, the Astros remained in first place with a 17-3 record while the Braves hold a two-game lead over the Padres for second place with an 11-9 record.
The Padres were in third place with a 9-11 record while the Phillies rounded out the four-team league with a 3-17 record.
Games were set to resume Tuesday with the Astros and Padres playing a doubleheader in East Brewton at 5 p.m. while the Braves and Phillies were set to play at 5 p.m. in a doubleheader in Brewton.
The season is scheduled to end Thursday with the Astros and Phillies squaring off at 5 p.m. in Brewton and the Braves and Padres playing in East Brewton.

Phillies 10, Braves 9
Prior to the cancellation of the game earlier in the season, the Phillies rallied from a 9-3 deficit in the bottom of the third to tie the game at 9-9 and force extra innings before weather conditions postponed the game until Friday night.
In the resumed game Friday, the Phillies kept the Braves off the board for three extra innings while plating the winning run in the bottom of the 10th to win by one, 10-9.
The Braves led the Phillies 4-3 after the first inning and 9-3 heading into the bottom of the third inning following a scoreless second inning for both teams.
In the third, the Phillies plated two runs to cut the lead to 9-5 and added four more in the fourth inning to tie the game at 9-9.
The Phillies had their chance to win the game in the bottom of the seventh inning, as they had runners reach base by hit-by-pitch and advance to second and third base with one out but could not get the winning run home before the game was called.
On Friday, the two teams played to two scoreless innings as the game went to the bottom of the 10th still tied at 9-all.
In the bottom of the 10th, the Phillies benefited from three straight walks to Tripp Floyd, Jake Najor, and Jared Cooper to load the bases with no outs. Hunter Brittain then singled in Floyd for the winning run.
At the plate for the Phillies in the win, Floyd was 1-for-3 and Najor was 2-for-5 with two RBIs. Cooper was 3-for-4 with a double and two RBIs while Brittain was 2-for-3 with two RBIs. Jordan Williams went 1-for-3 while Baylen Parker and Caleb Winton were both 1-for-4.
On the mound, Winton earned the win going 10 innings and allowing 14 hits, nine runs, six earned, walked and struck out five.
For the Braves at the plate, Keaton Parker was 2-for-6 and Jo Jo Booker was 2-for-5 with one RBI.
Miles Powell was 2-for-3 with a triple and one RBI and Malcolm Hawthorne was 2-for-4 with a double and three RBIs. Hunter Harp went 2-for-4 and Robin Swift was 1-for-5 with one RBI. Todd Mayo was 1-for-4 and Christian Mancil was 2-for-4 with a double.
Alex O’Keane got the start on the mound and went the first two innings and allowed two hits, three earned runs, walked three and struck out one.
Austin Holmes went the next 1 1/3 innings and allowed five hits, six runs, five earned, walked three and struck out one.
Hunter Harp went the next 2 2/3 innings and allowed three hits, no runs, no walks and struck out two.
Powell went the seventh inning and struck out two and hit two batters. Todd Mayo went two innings and walked four while Malcolm Hawthorne and Keaton Parker pitched and allowed a combined one hits, one earned run, and walked three.

Braves 11, Phillies 1
In the second game between the Braves and the Phillies Friday night, the Braves held the Phillies to one run on two hits to get a 10-run win in five innings.
The Braves led 4-0 after the first inning and 6-1 after the second inning before scoring three runs in the fifth to help get the win by 10.
At the plate for the Phillies in the loss, Najor and Cooper were both 1-for-2 in the loss with Caleb Winton having the lone RBI.
Tyler Baxter and Cooper pitched in the loss with Baxter being the pitcher of record.
The duo allowed nine hits, 11 runs, eight earned, walked five and struck out four in four innings.
For the Braves, Keaton Parker was 1-for-3 with two RBIs while Booker was 1-for-2.
Harp went 1-for-3 while Swift was 3-for-3 with a triple and two RBIs. O’Keane had two RBIs while Austin Holmes was 1-for-2 with one RBI. Mancil was 1-for-2 with a double and one RBI while O’Neil White was 1-for-2.
Booker earned the win on the mound as he allowed two hits, one earned run, walked three and struck out four.

Astros 14, Padres 13
Trailing 13-10 heading into the bottom of the sixth inning, the Astros scored four runs in the inning and held the Padres scoreless in the seventh to come away with a one-run win, 14-13.
The Padres led the Astros 3-1 after the first and second innings before taking a 7-6 after three innings of play.
In the fourth, the Astros would tie the game at seven before falling behind 13-10 after five innings.
Dalton Shell earned the win on the mound for the Astros in relief of Tim McDonald, Mike Williams and Stokes Jennings. For the Padres, Chris Jones took the loss.
At the plate for the Astros in the win, Derrick Barton had a single while Tyler Joyner had a double and a single and one RBI.
Williams added two singles and one RBI while McDonald had a single and a triple and three RBIs. Jones Manning chipped in with a single and two RBIs while Dylan Etheridge had a single. Lane Clark added a single and one RBI and Shell had a single.
For the Padres, Jonathan Lucas and Jones had a single each while Lane Chavers had a single and one RBI. Tyler Hoomes swung a hot bat for the Padres in the loss as he had a triple and two singles and five RBIs.
Brooks Brown added two singles and one RBI while Colton Morris added one RBI and Preston Townsend had two singles.
