Blueberry Festival on tap Saturday

The 32nd annual Alabama Blueberry Festival begins at 8 a.m Satuday morning going until 3 p.m. The Greater Brewton Area Chamber of Commerce hosts the annual affair held at Burnt Corn Creek Park near downtown Brewton. A car and motorcycle show will be on tap as well as entertainment throughout the day.

Children can enjoy free entertainment in the form of bouncers, slides, bungee jumps, a petting zoo and pony rides.

There will be food to keep you energized with everything from barbecue and hamburgers to blueberry ice cream and blueberry bread pudding. Fresh blueberries will be available by the pint or crate and you can even pick up a blueberry bush to grow your own.

Musical, dancing and dramatic acts will take the stage throughout the day to keep festival-goers entertained. More than 50 vendors will be on handing offering arts and crafts with almost everything imaginable.

Parking will be available throughout the downtown Brewton area with a free shuttle service offered from various locations around town.
