Kenneth ‘Kenny’ Richardson Sr.

Mr. Kenneth “Kenny” Richardson Sr., died Thursday, July 5, 2012. He was a native and long-time resident of Brewton. He had served in the Job Corp and was preceded in death by a grandson, Tykwon Ordon; his mother, Eloise Richardson and seven brothers, Leroy Richardson, Robert Richardson, Conny Ray Richardson, Gullice Richardson Jr., Orlando Richardson, Clifford Spears and Lawrence Edward Bethea.
He is survived by a son, Kenneth Earl Richardson Jr. of Ozark; two stepchildren, Princella (Warrick) Melton of Huntsville, and Earnest Daniels of Ozark; his father, Gullice (Lillie) Richardson Sr.; two grandchildren, Mariah Datty and Trrinity Richardso, both of Ozark; six step-grandchildren; three sisters, Diann Evans of Long Beach, Calif., Gwendolyn Johns of Brewton, and Willene Richardson of Montgomery; a brother, Henry (Jackie) Dixon of Colorado Springs, Col.; three sisters-in-law, Annie Wesley and Mary Odom, both of Ozark, and Jeanette Richardson of Brewton; two brothers-in-law, Clinton (Chrissy) Daniels of Brewton, and Earnest James Glanton of Ozark; two uncles, Melvin Richardson Jr. of Brewton, and James Bennett of Alexander City; five aunts, Doris Thomas and Louise Johnson, both of Brewton, Annie Jewel Jones of Montgomery, Easter (James) Jackson and Rebecca Michael, both of Pensacola, Fla.; a special nephew, Carlos Jones of Evergreen; a special friend, Mary Louise Brown of Brewton, and a host of other friends and relatives.
Funeral services were held Thursday, July 12, at 2 p.m. at Presley-Fluker Funeral Home Chapel in Brewton with the Rev. Willie J. Blue officiating. Burial followed at Baptist Hill Cemetery with Presley-Fluker Funeral Home directing.
