Mrs. Lyvonne Coleman, 79, died Saturday, July 14, 2012 in Milton, Fla. She was a native of Goodway and a resident of Bryneville since 1965. She wrote the Bryneville News for Tri-City Ledger for the past 20 years and attended Poplar Dell Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Bob Coleman, a daughter, Patricia Coleman Jernigan and a brother, Bobby Davis.
She is survived by her four sons, John R. (Peggy) Coleman of Byrneville, Glen M. (Charlene) Coleman of Brewton, Donald (Margaret) Coleman of McDavid, Fla., and Daniel (Becky) Coleman of Milton, Fla.; a daughter, Cathy Coleman (Milton) Ray of McDavid; a brother, MacArthur Davis of Barnett Crossroads,; a sister, Earlene Roberts of Pleasant Grove; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 17 at 10 a.m. at the Petty Eastside Chapel with the Rev. Mitch Herring and John Coleman officiating. Burial will follow at Poplar Dell Cemetery with Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home directing.
Pallbearers will be John R. Coleman, Glen M. Coleman, Donald Coleman, Daniel Coleman, John Coleman and Mike Beals.
